A few months ago, I had a great trip across the water to parts of Asia. Ever since I got back, I haven’t been able to let it go… It’s like I’m being called back there for some reason. While I was there, I did get some nice pics with my friend, the hawkman. Now, a tall black man in asia is enough of an oddity, but put a camera and a little action figure in his hand, and there was no way I could keep from standing out. It was fun though.
I loved the landscape, the architecture, and the city life. It was interesting to see old and new right next to each other, contemporary and culture mixed in an elaborate dance of living.
I’m looking forward to the next time I can step foot on the soil in Asia. I don’t know what is there for me, but whatever it is, I’m ready for it.
