So i was talking with my mom today, of course, being Mother’s day. Again, she amazed me…
I’ve already bragged that she went skydiving at age 66… awesome…
I haven’t bragged as much that she was in a TV movie with Pam Dawber, but yes, she was…
I remember her taking 2 & 3 jobs to support us, all the while dealing with a daughter suffering with cancer…
What I didn’t know was that she had a personal audience with the Dalai Lama (actually saw him twice, but the first time was actually able to present to him… )
I think in all of this, what I really admire about her is her humility, her love of life, and her love and encouragement that she so freely gives.
Mom gives me my drive, my love of culture, my openness, and my appreciation of others. I am who I am because of her. She’s my biggest fan, and I have to say, I am hers as well.
Mom, thank you for everything you continually give to me. You truly are a super Mom
Just wow! Your mom does sound like super mom to me, and she has sure raised an amazing son as far as I can tell from knowing you <3
